Ukraine, Britain to develop bilateral cooperation
Ukraine and Great Britain are planning to increase the bilateral trade turnover, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said in the course of his meeting with Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, UK Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, the government's website says.
"It is in our common interests to do the utmost for trade cooperation between the two countries to improve," Azarov said adding in the course of the past years the bilateral trade turnover reduced because of the economic crisis.
The parties also discussed reform and modernization of the Ukrainian economy. In the Prime Minister's words, among the government's priorities is to conduct a court reform, reduce the level of corruption and upgrade the industry.
The parties also touched on modernization of Ukraine's gas transportation system.
