21 may 2010 12:58 Ukraine reduces gas and oil production
Ukrainian oil and gas companies reduced gas production by 8.4% in January-April 2010 year-on-year, to 6.737 billion cubic meters, the Fuel and Energy Ministry's press service has reported.

Oil and gas condensate production fell by 11.3% over the period to 1.189 million tons.

In 2009, Ukrainian oil and gas companies increased gas production by 0.8% to 21.182 billion cubic meters, and reduced oil and gas condensate production by 6.8% to 3.952 million tons.

Ukraine's largest oil and gas companies are Ukrhazvydobuvannia, Ukrnafta and Chornomornaftogaz, all part of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
