Polish National Oil and Gas Company PGNiG plans to increase gas imports from Ukraine and 5 million cubic meters (imported in 2009) to 200 million cubic meters.



Implement the plan by the Polish PGNiG intends to complete the construction of the pipeline Grubeshov - Zamosc (to be completed in III quarter 2010). The pipeline, which connects the Ukrainian gas transport system with the city Grubeshov - Poland's only owned subsidiaries В»PGNiG, rather than a specially designed 5 years ago the company management pipelines for gas imports to the country of the company Gaz System.

Earlier, PGNiG reported on the possibility of supply this pipeline to Poland 0.5 billion cubic meters of gas, representing about 4% of blue fuel in the country, writes the Polish Gazeta Wyborcza.

"The increase in imports is only possible with the consent of the Russian gas monopoly OAO Gazprom, without which Ukraine can not re-export the gas" - the newspaper notes.
