Private investors from Spain are planning to build a modern hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk.
A protocol on this was signed on Thursday by Ivano-Frankivsk Head Viktor Anushkevichus and the head of a group of private investors, Juan Casani Luna, from Valencia, Spain.
Luna said at the International Investment-Economic Forum in Ivano-Frankivsk that Spain has decided to invest in Ukraine, as the country has a stable political situation, while the authorities of Ivano-Frankivsk and the region are interested in the realization of the project.
He said that a 250-bed hospital would be built very quickly. The hospital will be in line with all international standards, it will have the latest equipment, and it will be affordable to all.
The investor said that the hospital will have six surgical departments, six operating rooms, three maternity rooms and all other medicinal departments, including a laboratory, tomography, hemodialysis, physiotherapy, etc.
He said that this would be a second hospital in the world with such equipment. The first was built in Spain.
A total of 650 jobs will be created at the hospital.
