kraine has finished the harvest of early grains and pulse crop in the total area of 9.6 million hectares (100%) and produced 37.3 million tons of grain.

As reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in 15 regions (oblast) the highest crop yield has been reached ever during all the years of independence of Ukraine. The harvesting result first time ever place on record the yield for barley, rye and rapeseed.

Among the 15 regions the following are the top 5 in yield of grains and pulse.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast              – 56.6 metric centner per hectare

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast           – 52.1 metric centner per hectare

Vinnytsia Oblast                     – 50 metric centner per hectare

Ternopil Oblast                      – 49.8 metric centner per hectare

Chernivtsi Oblast                   – 48.8 metric centner per hectare
